Charges: Reckless Driving. We recently acted for a client in a country town in relation to reckless driving and it was important that the client not have a conviction and we were successful in getting a spent conviction.

Charges: FVRO by wife against our client. It was successfully dismissed and client’s comment to us:

Charges: We had a client charged with possession of a controlled weapon, being capsicum spray (commonly known as pepper spray). We provided submissions to the prosecution in relation to us having a defence to possessing the capsicum spray. The prosecution discontinued the charge.

Charges: assault. We acted for a young man who is mentally unwell and charged with assault.  Negotiations led to the charge being dropped. His family are understandably very happy indeed.

Charges: reckless driving to evade police. Matter negotiated down from reckless driving to escape pursuit to dangerous driving to escape pursuit which meant there was no mandatory imprisonment. Put together with the other matters led to the matter being a suspended sentence. The client was overjoyed. His comment reflects that.
